• John Lennon is shot and killed. (TXF: "Unruhe")
• Gerald Schnauz severely attacks his father with an axe handle. His father is forced to live the rest of his days in a wheelchair. Gerald Schnauz is sent to the Melvoin Psychiatric Hospital for six years and is diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia. His sister commits suicide, soon after. (TXF: "Unruhe")
