Chance to be listed in a X-files Article! Interview Request
Interview Request for any X-File Fan
Hello,
I am currently a Journalism student, writing an article for a magazine on the X-File series Franchise and its impact on popular culture today. As part of my article, I need an X-file Fan (Any fan - no requirements whatsoever) to interview with some questions e.g. What is it about X-files that first caught your attention? Why do you think it became so popular? How has X-files laid a foundation for multiple supernatural shows in the 21st Century? It will take no more than 15 minutes of your time and we can do it via messages, phone, or zoom, I don't mind. If anyone is interested, please let me know via this chat and we can organize it further.
I would really appreciate anyone's help :)
Why Dana Scully is a femaleS favorite
She was my cousin Ashley‘s favorite character in The X-Files back in the 90s to early 2000s on the show got canceled. It was revived for two more seasons till it ended.
Adoption for Bureaucrat
Hello all, I am MechQueste and I am a local administrator here. I am seeking the bureaucrat toolset. Currently, I am the most active editor and it would be good to have all the tools available. Of course, it means only promoting admin, but I feel an active one deserves all the tools.
What do you all think? Yes to adoption to bureaucrat?
Roundtable Discussion - Rewatching During Quarantine?
Hi, X-Philers,
It's been an eventful past few months, with the pandemic going on! We've all had to get used to self-isolation, social distancing protocols, and quarantine, which has been really scary and unfamiliar.
However, all of this extra "indoors time" has provided many of us with the opportunity to re-watch some of our favorite seasons of The X-Files (I know I have!). Therefore, I wanted to host a community-wide roundtable discussion in order for everyone to be able to discuss events/plots/characters of the series, as we re-watch, and share our favorite episodes!
Now is the opportunity to "geek out" over the mythology or discuss your favorite Monsters of the Week, as you re-watch the series. I look forward to seeing everyone's ideas in th…
tHE End?
I hope and believe we will see more X Files. I think if done properly, we can let go of Mulder and Scully and allow their replacement by new well cast protagonists. It will also require an updating of the central conspiracy premise.
Re-uploading images
Hello X-Philes!
I have begun the task of re-uploading all SD images to HD quality (1920x1080). I suspect there's thousands of images that will need updating (primarily on episode articles), but it's almost 2019 and I feel we should aim to have as many HD quality photos as possible.
How is Skinner still Assistant Director?
How is Walter Skinner still at the FBI? Don't they change Assistant Directors like every ten years and if not then why hasn't he gotten some sort of promotion? The man has been Assistant Director for over 2 decades now. He really deserves a promotion.

The First Five Episodes of Season 11: A Critic's Perspective
The critics are already viewing the first five episodes of TXF's upcoming , and reviews are up!
Here is the general consensus.
- 1 Episode 1: My Struggle III (Chris Carter)
- 2 Episode 2: This (Glen Morgan)
- 3 Episode 3: Plus One (Chris Carter)
- 4 Episode 4: The Lost Art of Forehead Sweat (Darin Morgan)
- 5 Episode 5: Ghouli (James Wong)
Plot: "Picking up after the last event series’ cliffhanger, Mulder and Scully learn that they aren’t the only ones desperately searching for their long-lost son, William. The very fate of the world may depend on it."
Review: Reviewing this one is… difficult, without giving anything away that explains this difficulty. While it does continue – in a way – with the cliffhanger from Season 10, and it sticks to the same style that Carte…
X-treme enjoyment
Been bingewatching The X-Files for a few weeks now and every time I watch the show I learn or notice something new. For instance, even the bad episodes of TXF are better than most of the modern shows. I might be unfair but I'm not a big fan of newer shows.
New 10 Episodes!
Hi,
If you haven't seen already, a 10 episode event has been announced for The X-Files. I have screenshotted the promotional poster and Gillian Anderson's tweet. Go to her twitter to see more!
I'm excited and I hope you all are too!
(The promotional poster is a gif image) (I also think that a page or pages should be made for this event…)
Help needed! Super-Soldiers in the X-Files.
Dear X-Files fans,
I am currently writing a seminar paper on super soldiers / military experiments in the X-Files. It is a final paper for a whole seminar on the the X-Files and the 1990s in America. Super soldiers are really interesting to me as DARPA for example does this kind of highly-financed research in real life. A lot of it is secret of course, but some inventions that they have made have been presented to the public, such as robotic suits to give soldiers more strength, several drugs to enhance awareness and concentration etc.
As I have not yet been able to watch all of the X-Files episodes, I would be glad if you as X-Files "believers" ;) could help me with your professional insights and knowledge.
Which episodes do you know of deal…

Fox being red-green color blind
I'm just curious, but wouldn't Fox being red-green color blind make his job as a FBI agent harder. Doesn't red-green color blind mean you can't see red or green and if so then how would he be allowed to operate a vehicle. He would run every red light. I mean somebody could tell him if it was red or green, but still I would think this would be some sort of disability to a FBI agent. What do you guys think?
Future of the X-Files predictions
So, the season finale of The X-Files season 10 is about to air. I'd like to go ahead and discuss predictions for the future of the series.
Pre production and production would begin a couple of months after the air of "My Struggle II" and post-production would begin in late 2016/early 2017. After Chris Carter releases a series of "Investigation Packs" (sort of like the TOP SECRET mystery series) for fans along with a couple of books and some other promotional material, season 10 airs on Sunday, October 8th, 2017.
By the time the setting in season eleven comes around, the FBI has formed the "X-Files team" from FBI agents and allies of Mulder and Scully to lead the take down of the government agency that would use alien technology to take over th…
Season 10 and Miniseries Continuity Resolution
Hello and welcome newcomers and returning users to the X-Files Wiki. It is good to have you here and read about one of the greatest science-fiction franchises of all-time.
I'm pretty sure we are all aware of the new X-Files Miniseries that is already halfway through its projected run. However, The X-Files Season 10 comic series has ended a year ago and Season 11 is about to end its line. The common confusion and question springing around the wiki and the X-Files community is the continuity of these source materials. Another words, which of the two sources continuing the story after the end of the television series is true canon?
I have seen threads on the wiki concerning changing the X-Files Miniseries name to "Season Ten" to make it conjunction wi…

Hybrid artwork
I don’t usually keep a blog here, but I thought I’d share this with my wiki friends. I’ve been working on some X-Files mythology artwork these past few months. It features the Kurt Crawford and agrarian drone hybrid series in a deeper exploration and extension of their story. I had a chance to get in touch with Vancouver actor David Lovgren for this project and he kindly agreed to model as Crawford on the paintings (I worked from photographs and screen shots). The themes are mainly inspired from the essay Ethics by German theologian Dietrich Bonhoeffer (1906-1945), as his life strangely reminded me of the resistance hybrids (minus the science-fiction elements, of course). You can check it out on deviantArt:

Legacy of the Rebels
I've been wondering something, and I've wanted to discuss this question with others:
What happens to the Faceless Aliens after the Destruction of the Syndicate? They don't appear in any other episodes afterwards.

Cancer Man Implied In Millennium?
While watching the episode "The Time Is Now ", noticed in the scene where Peter is breaking into the Old Man's footlocker, there is a Morley cigarette on the floor. We all know who smokes this brand, and was wondering if there is an implication that The Group was responsible for unleashing the virus? --O Groggy One
