Chris Owens

Actor Chris Owens was a frequent guest star on The X-Files, portraying by-the-book FBI agent Jeffrey Spender.

He also portrayed his own character's father in the Season 4 episode "Musings of a Cigarette Smoking Man", appearing in a flashback as a young Cigarette Smoking Man. The Great Mutato, a character from the episode "The Post-Modern Prometheus", was also portrayed by Chris Owens.
