David Fredericks

David Fredericks was a Canadian actor who portrayed real-life FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover in two episodes of The X-Files and one episode of Millennium, as well as several other roles on those two series.
He also played roles in eighteen movies, starting with his first filmed appearance in the Cantonese film Hei mao in 1991.
He made one-episode appearances in a total of nine series, beginning with his first appearance as a named character in Strange Luck (a series in which Fox Mulder would later be mentioned), and starred as two different characters in two episodes of The New Addams Family. Of all the series, he made his most appearances in episodes of The X-Files. On July 1, 1999, he died of cancer in Vancouver, Canada.
