Derwood Spinks (played by Mark Pellegrino) was an employee of Lucky Boy in Costa Mesa, California. Although he became a prime suspect in the murder of Donald Edward Pankow, he knew that Rob Roberts was responsible. Having been an ex-convict, the additional attention led to Spinks being fired by Mr. Rice. Spinks then revealed to Roberts that he found Roberts' diet pills at the crime scene, but kept them to use for blackmail. Spinks attempted to blackmail Roberts, but Roberts invaded his apartment and killed him. (TXF: "Hungry")
