Ernie Stefaniuk was a man who lived in Montana in the 1950s. He had a brother, Myron Stefaniuk.
In 1956, Ernie and two other men shot a man-like bat. They made the front page of the Montana Press Telegram with their unusual find.
Stefaniuk married a woman called Ariel against the wishes of her mother. (TXF: "Patience")
