[edit] Summary
Teaser
A scientist is collecting insects in a dense rainforest when he finds a decomposing hog with vultures all around it. After shooing them away, he leans closer to the carcass when a pustule on the hog's skin bursts and sprays him with some kind of sticky substance. Later, the scientist is desperately making calls on his radio for help. When the rescue team finds him the next day, however, he is dead.
In a maximum security prison, an inmate named Bobby Torrence receives a package which contains an animal leg with sores and pustules on it. He throws it against the far wall of his cell and screams out the door of his cell for the guard to take it away. The guard doesn't answer and Torrence is left alone in the cell with the infected leg.
