Laurie Holden (born 17 December 1969) is an American-Canadian actress who portrayed Marita Covarrubias in The X-Files.

Biography[]

She's the daughter of actors Glenn Corbett (aka Larry Holden) and Adrienne Ellis. When she was five, her parents divorced, and her mother married director Michael Anderson. She started her career as a child, when she played Rock Hudson's daughter in the mini-series "The Martian's Chronicles" (1980).

Other notable roles on television include "Young Catherine" (1991) (co-starred Julia Ormond and Vanessa Redgrave), "The Magnificent Seven" (1998-2000), "The Shield" (2008), Andrea on the "The Walking Dead" (2010-2013) and "The Americans" (2017-2018). In 2022, she joins "The Boys" season 3, in the role of Crimson Countess, while also performing the songs "America's Son" and "Chimps Don't Cry"

She starred also in several movies: The Majestic (2001), Dumb & Dumber To (2014) (co-starred Jim Carrey), Fantastic Four (2005), Silent Hill (2006), The Mist (2007) , Pyewacket (2017) and Dragged Across Concrete (2018), alongside Mel Gibson and Vince Vaughn.
