Richie Lupone

Richie Lupone (played by Shia La Beouf) was the son of Maggie Lupone and had a severe liver condition that kept him at home. He was a friend of Henry Weems, who resurfaced from anonymity to obtain $100,000.00 for a new treatment in England for Richie because Richie had a very rare B-negative blood type. Richie's favorite toy was an elaborate Rube Goldberg machine built by Weems. Richie was also a major sports fan of all the teams in Chicago. After his mother was kidnapped by Joe Cutrona and subsequently saved by Weems, it was discovered that Cutrona had the same blood type as Richie and the boy was saved. (TXF: "The Goldberg Variation")
