Dr. Harvey Buchanon worked at the Maple's Clinic, an abortion clinic in Tea Neck, New Jersey. He was one of three doctros who died in separate arson fires.
Mulder became involved in Dr. Buchanon's case after receiving his obituary via email. Mulder later learns from CIA Agent, Ambrose Chapel, that Dr. Buchanon was a clone and part of a Soviet Science Program named Gregor.
According to his obituary, Dr. Harvey William Buchanon died on 10 Jan. 1995, at the age of 40. He was one of the founding members of the Tea Neck Chapter of the New Jersey Planned Parenthood Society and was awarded the New Jersey Association of Gynecology top honor, the Gold Star.
