A hotline is a telephone number that a person can call 24 hours a day. (TXF: "Teliko")

Several organisations in the United States have hotlines for UFO reports, including the Center for UFO Studies in Chicago, MUFON and NICAP. In 1994, FBI Special Agent Fox Mulder telephoned the hotlines of several such agencies while investigating an unmarked truck thought to be carrying UFO wreckage. (TXF: "E.B.E.")
