James Earl Ray

James Earl Ray (played by Paul Jarrett) assassinated Martin Luther King, Jr. in 1968. However, one theory suggests that Ray was a scapegoat for the real shooter, the Cigarette Smoking Man. Ray was supposedly given a few hundred dollars to "see a movie or something" while the Smoking Man killed King.
