Jim Jansen played Dr. Heitz Werber in the pilot episode of The X-Files. He later reprised the role in "Patient X" and "The Red and the Black".
Jansen has also guest starred in Picket Fences (in the episode "The Z Files"), Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (twice) and has a recurring role in Gilmore Girls. It is interesting to note that the second character that Jansen played in Deep Space Nine was called Lucsly, an anagram of Scully.
