Madame Zelma was a Tarot reader in Minneapolis, Minnesota who was the first person murdered by the man Clyde Bruckman called the "puppet." before the puppet went on a hunt to murder as many fortune tellers as he can. Zelma read his thoughts and told him a little bit about events that may happen. Before she could tell him much about his future to come, he took action and murdered her before he went on a killing spree. Immediately before killing her, the puppet said "You're a fortune teller, you should have seen this coming." (TXF: "Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose")
