  • really August 11?

      Loading editor
    • It's funny that it's different dates for countries. UK is July 24, and Australia is August 1. But this isn't a first, I remember the Buffy DVDs came out a year before America.

I wished it was same week for every country.

    • I agree it should be for every week. Thing is, I looked online for any evidence for an US release. Apparently, not mentioned? even Amazon doesn't say anything. sigh

    • That's very strange. WOW! I used to use TVshowsondvd.com as my go-to site, but they shut down after 17 years of use, and now I'm so lost for a go-to site for release dates for shows.

    • that site says to go their facebook or twitter, etc. facebook was never good to host data.

    • Glad you had a great time.

I wanna visit Melbourne + Sydney. Heard those cities are fun.

    • Thanks.

They are fun. Plenty of American tourists enjoy their time in these cities.

  • I re-watched Season 10.

A few things about the episodes.

The one about terrorism: Babylon. I was just thinking..... How are they gonna connect that? Turns out, Mulder used some hack to enter the almost-dead guy's mind to get the answer. That move with the tech felt more like something of the future medical advances and sci-fi rather than paranormal mystery. Like what?

On the other hand, Mulder and Scully Meet the Were-Monster is a monster of the week monster I truly liked. Mystery and a monster truly validated, if ever so slightly, Mulder's belief in the truth out there.

Thus, Im 50/50 on Season 10.

  • My question would be why the in the hangar seen UFO/ARV ("My Struggle") is novelty compared to the previous one. We know in the first season that the government/military uses alien technology since 1947. (see: ARV in 1x01: "Deep Throat", "Tempus Fugit"/"Max", Area 51 in "Dreamland" I-II.)

Thanks for the reply in advance!

  • Im thinking of adopting this wiki as bureaucrat. I would love to do so, and would require your support. I have to wait until may 24th because the bureaucrat Princess Diva last edited March 24, so I have to wait 2 months.

  • I nuked this Ip's edits, again.

look at the deleted edits. A lot of the pages are literally blank papes with categories. I understand these pages, the ones I deleted, are part of the x-files world as they were mentioned in pages.

However, I can't accept just a blank page with categories. If the IP makes a page even with 1 sentence, I would help expand it.

  • Is Season 11 the end?

Probably not, but I don't think we're getting any more seasons in the x-files anymore. admittadly, I have yet to watch Season 11 because im in the middle of re-watching the x-files. I wanna see more than Season 11 but a few things sprang to mide.

Franchise fatigue. People want new and change. That wears down on a series. Plus, they're getting old. Also, the story can't go really on since the CSM is in his 80s and the main actors have basically lost their mojo, so to speak, with their increased age.

For the series to end gracefully, I can imagine a few years down the line, they do something like, a blooper or something that says conspiracies never die. If a definite conclusion is set, I am not sure if it would kill the franchise overall. Kind of comparing this to a Jar Jar Binks movie, which would completely ruin the Star Wars world for numerous fans.

    Anyways, hope things change.

    • Would several movies end well?

        Loading editor
    • Yeah I agree it wasn't a good send-off, but I did love some parts in it. I think I did like the ending in the truth though, or the mulder/scully scene is so good.

I think that would be enough to wrap it up. Even if it were 2 or 3 tv films.

  • I just nuked this IP's edits. I had noticed that a lot of the creations (now in the deleted contributions), were of people from the simpsons. Also, its category creations are of one person and are along the lines of [person killed by X], all of which were filled with 1 or 2 people. That is far too little in my opinion.

Regarding this guy, the photos are highly sexualized pics of the actors, that is the recent ones. I feel the ons depicting the semi-naked ones are....... not appropriate for this wiki. I have thoughts of deleting them. Thoughts?
