Sergeant Runselhoff happily telling Jeremy Wash how much trouble he is in.

One of the higher ranking guards, Sergeant Runselhoff seemed to be a key overseer at the Texas Death Row.

He was strict but not cruel. When he learned that Jimmy Bond and John Fitzgerald Byers didn't belong on Death Row (because Richard Langly and Melvin Frohike had altered the prison records again), he had them handed over to transfer guards (Frohike and Langly posing as guards). He told Jimmy Bond that they should have spoken up sooner in an apologetic tone.

When Douglas Pfeiffer turned on Jeremy Wash, Runselhoff got to be the one to deliver the news that his client was still alive. And that Texas Rangers wanted to speak with Jeremy Wash... He seemed to enjoy that as anyone would.
