Saddam Hussein (April 28, 1937 - December 30, 2006) was the President of Iraq from 1979 to 2003.

History[]

According to Morris Fletcher, Hussein was originally a dinner theater actor named John Gillnitz from Tulsa. He was known for his good ethnic portrayal in The King and I. In 1979, Majestic 12 set him up as ruler of Iraq in order to keep people distracted. (TXF: "Dreamland II") Fletcher subsequently kept a picture of him and Hussein in his Area 51 office. (TXF: "Dreamland I")

On December 24, 1991, Hussein called the Cigarette Smoking Man in his office. (TXF: "Musings of a Cigarette Smoking Man")

The events of 1991 were written in the semi-fictional novel Second Chance: A Jack Colquitt Adventure by the Cigarette Smoking Man under the alias of Raul Bloodworth, and may or may not have actually occurred.

In 1999, Lily Unser had a few harsh words to tell FBI Agent Frank Black about Saddam Hussein. (MM: "Matryoshka")

In 2001, Kimmy Belmont was afraid that Hussein might use a new DoD compound that could observe electromagnetic transmissions, making objects invisible to radar. (TLG: "Tango de los Pistoleros")
