Thomas J. Wright
From X-Files Wiki
Thomas J. Wright is a prolific television director, having almost one hundred episodes to his name. He was the main director on Millennium and also served as a producer on the series. Following the end of that series, he directed three episodes of The X-Files, most notably the episode "Millennium", which saw the final appearances of Frank and Jordan Black.
Before Millennium, he directed several episodes of Glen Morgan and James Wong's series Space: Above and Beyond. Wright has since directed episodes of Angel, Wolf Lake (with episodes written by Alex Gansa), Smallville and Bones.
He is just two episodes behind the record set by Kim Manners, who holds the record for directing the most episodes of any of Chris Carter's series. Wright directed fifty episodes, while Manners directed fifty two.
Wright recorded an audio commentary for one of his favorite Millennium episodes, "Collateral Damage", for the third season DVD. He gave interviews for all of the featurettes on the Millennium DVDs.
