United States Military

The United States Military is the total armed forces of the United States of America. It is commanded by a commander-in-chief (the president) and overseen by the Department of Defense. The military is divided into five branches:

• United States Army
• United States Navy
  • United States Marine Corps
• United States Air Force
• United States Coast Guard
