Vancouver is a port city in British Columbia, Canada, which will host the 2010 Winter Olympics. It is the third largest city in Canada.

The first five seasons of The X-Files were filmed in Vancouver. It was chosen, originally, when the producers could not find a good forest near Los Angeles to film The Pilot episode. The X-Files: I Want to Believe was also filmed in Vancouver.
