[edit] Background Information

  • This episode was the writing debut of X-Files visual effects producer, Mat Beck. It is the only episode he ever wrote.
  • When Mulder comes to Scully's motel room, she fires six shots at him and the slide on her pistol locks back. This is unlikely unless she didn't have a full magazine.
  • When Skinner talks to Mulder about the shooting, he says that Scully fired four shots at him.
