Zeus Faber

The Zeus Faber was an American submarine sent to investigate a crashed UFO in the Pacific Ocean. Nearly all aboard were killed after being exposed to the black oil virus. (TXF: "Nisei", "Piper Maru")

In reality, Zeus Faber is the scientific name for a saltwater fish, the John Dory. This information is not revealed in The X-Files, however.
